Single and working as a temp, Mirai lives with her grandmother who is quite ill and in a hospital. She discovers that her grandmother was born in Tainan, Taiwan and longs to see her hometown again. Mirai travels to Tainan, finds her grandmother's schools and homes and takes photos of them all in order to provide both comfort and show her love.
